Gua Sha

  /    /  Gua Sha

Gua sha (also referred to as scraping) is a therapeutic technique that involves deep-pressured scraping of the channels along the neck and back, intentionally drawing up petchiae (or sha) and creating an anti-inflammatory response. It is highly effective for releasing a cold or flu from the body, reducing fever, pain, headaches, asthma, coughing, and autoimmune conditions. While gua sha does leave temporary markings on the body, most still find it to be a pleasant and relaxing experience.
