Acupuncture + Holistic Medicine

  /    /  Acupuncture

An acupuncture treatment consists of the gentle insertion and stimulation of thin, disposable, sterile needles at strategic points on the surface of the body. There are upwards of around 2,000 acupuncture points on the body, each connected by various meridians. When the flow of qi (life force) is imbalanced within these meridians, dis-ease arises. Acupuncture in itself is a complex system of harmonizing the qi imbalances, thus easing the body back into to a state of equilibrium. As the organs and energetic pathways reach a more aligned state, body systems are able to do what they are meant to do – heal and thrive.
